Final Disciplinary Decisions

Rule 181 of the Greyhound Racing Rules outlines that GWIC must keep records of the disciplinary action it takes, and can publish records relating to disciplinary action at its discretion.  

A full list of final disciplinary decisions can be found below.

Note: Participants are reminded that anyone dealing with or associating with a disqualified or warned off person for greyhound racing purposes may be in breach of the Greyhound Racing Rules and subject to disciplinary action.

Charge 1 (Rule 21(3)) Mr Michael Lee, permitted the condition of his registered premises to be in a condition that was likely to be dangerous to the health, welfare or safety of any greyhound in his custody. Charge 2 (Rule 21(1)(c)) Mr Michael Lee, between the dates of 10 November 2022 and 24 January 2023 failed to keep the kennels at his registered premises in a clean and sanitary condition. Charge 3 (Rule 151 (1) and (2)) Mr Michael Lee, failed to keep and produce treatment records relating to greyhounds in his care.

Charge 1 – LR21(a) Mr Johnston did a thing which constitutes an offence by striking the greyhound ‘Stir The Pot’ in the face. Charge 2 – R151 Failed to produce complete written treatment records. Charge 3 – R156(h) Failed to comply with a lawful order of a member of the Controlling Body.
