Final Disciplinary Decisions

Rule 181 of the Greyhound Racing Rules outlines that GWIC must keep records of the disciplinary action it takes, and can publish records relating to disciplinary action at its discretion.  

A full list of final disciplinary decisions can be found below.

Note: Participants are reminded that anyone dealing with or associating with a disqualified or warned off person for greyhound racing purposes may be in breach of the Greyhound Racing Rules and subject to disciplinary action.

Charges 1, 3, 5, and 7 – R156(f)(ii) participant arranged for the greyhounds ‘Aston Shaker’, ‘Qatar Angel’, ‘Pennyroyal Tea’ and an unnamed greyhound to be killed. Charge 2 and 4 – R156(o) participant lodged two Death Notification forms which were known to contain false information. Charge 6 and 8 – Clause 10(3) participant failed to notify the Commission of the death of two greyhounds in his custody. Charge 9 and 10 – R21(1)(c) participant failed to maintain kennels constructed to a standard approved by the Controlling Body and maintained in a clean and sanitary condition. Charge 11, 12, 13 and 15 – R21(1)(d) participant failed to provide veterinary attention to several greyhounds in his custody. Charge 14 – R21(1)(a) participant failed to provide sufficient sustenance to a greyhound in his custody. Charge 16 – R21(1)(e) participant failed to seek veterinary treatment for injured greyhounds in his custody.
